You don't want to miss out on these new posts!
Flourish
The weekly blog hop is here!! *dancing and hopping around* Close your eyes! You def do not want to see that foolishness. But oh boy, a bit of childish antics can be extremely fun! The wonderful antics is hosted by the all too great Crazy for Books blog. Pull up a chair, click on her blog, find some other fabulous blogs, and well... dive into some great book reviews while you are at it. Twist and swoon the night away! This weeks Blog Hop Question is:

In honor of the Book Blogger Appreciation week, which blogs are your favorite and why??

Obsessed: Bella is fabulous! I don’t know if you have ever read her blog, but it always has the ability to put a smile on my face no matter what! She has so much wit and snark I feel like it makes me quicker at the same time! I love it!

Tomes Devotee: First thing that drew me to Paula’s blog was her music playlist I got to listen to. From there I was addicted. She reads so many of the books I do and gets my addiction to PNR. I love having friends in the world I live in…the vampire/werewolf world that is!

There are so many good blogs out there! How do I choose? I'll start off with two blogs from people I have meet through the online world who have become amazing friends! These two girls have become my go to girls when I crave to talk about books.

In the Closet With A Bibliophile

Jen and I seem to share twin like moments more often then not and she is amazing to have around in a time of literary need!

Butterfly Feet Walking on Books

Zakiya and I have shared late nights, late late nights, and days of book disscusion through the magical power of text and Goodreads! We often read books at the same time and try to go at the same pace. (Which is really hard!) She is wise and simply is a fantastic person who can discuss

books! What is not to Love??

There are a few blogs that I find myself needing to check more often then others. Because they provide great reviews. I also believe that they put part of their personalities into their posts. I enjoy them because I feel that their humor and wit is similar to my own! However, this may not be a good thing. My mouth has received me with great pleasure and well, lots of trouble!

Black Fingernailed Reviews

Their is also one more blog that I must honor!

Bibliopunkk is a great blog to go to for no non sense book reviews and literary talk. Her blog is simple in every way but it packs the best punch in a most delicious way! Join her on a most wonderful journey through her world of book!

First Drop of Crimson by Jeaniene Frost - Book Review

Title: First Drop of Crimson (Night Huntress World No.1)
Author: Jeaniene Frost
Pages: 371
Published: February 9th, 2010
Read: August 24th, 2010
Synopsis: The night is not safe for mortals. Denise MacGregor knows all too well what lurks in the shadows - her best friend is half-vampire Cat Crawfield - and she has already lost more than the average human could bear. But her family's dark past is wrapped in secrets and shrouded in darkness - and a demon shapeshifter has marked Denise as prey. Now her survival depends on an immortal who craves a taste of her.

He is Spade, a powerful, mysterious vampire who has walked the earth for centuries and is now duty-bound to protect this endangered, alluring human - even if it means destroying his own kind. Denise may arouse his deepest hungers, but Spade knows he must fight his urge to have her as they face the demon nightmare together...

Because once the first drop of crimson falls, they will both be lost.

This particular book by Jeaniene Frost, for all those who don't know, is an offshoot of her Night Huntress series starring Cat and Bones. Now, I have been dying for more ever since I'd finished the 4th book in the series so I picked up this little baby from the library.

Might I say it was quite fabulous. The writing was very much as good as the Night Huntress series, albeit, with a lot more Spade. I do love Frost's writing because I always know what to expect. She delivers an interesting plot full of sexy vampires and hot scenes... well, not as hot as chapter 32 in the Night Huntress series, but still.

My very very favorite part of this particular book was Spade's shower seduction scene... poor Denise never had a chance! I mean, a perfectly chiseled body like his all covered in a cascading shower of water....I'm sweating just thinking of it.

I do love Frost's love scenes though. I know exactly what I'm getting from her books when I read them, which is why I read them. She gives me sexy vampires with plenty of hot sweaty yumminess in the bedroom. What could be better than that?!

You say that it is a spin off... Do we see Cat and Bones in this book/series? Can you tell me a bit more about that cascading shower? LOL! How did I miss this? *Checks Shelf* Yup, I do own this book. It will have to go to the top of the TBR list!

It is a spin off, and OH YES do we get to see Cat and Bones, but not til the end of the book and only a bit. This story is told from Spade and Denise's point of views and it is quite fascinating. I do love Spade I've decided.

The shower scene is one of my favorite. It's Spade alone, in the shower, in the middle of a Las Vegas hotel suite dripping with water. Denise is in the bed attempting to not be turned on. It's quite fabulous because we all know he is using his naught body to seduce her. It's just such a wonderful scene!

Peeta (The Delicious Pastry Chef)

Dream of licking cake frosting from a unique place?

Cake Decorator

is the man for you!

Book: Hunger Games, Catching Fire, Mockingjay
By: Suzanne Collins
Genre: Young Adult, Science Fiction, Post- Apocalyptic, Dystopian, Modern Fantasy (Present Day)
Location: District 12, Panem

Lately everyone has been up in arms over the Team Peeta and Team Gale debate. Any and all those who would listen are fully aware that I am Team Peeta. I suppose now that the trilogy is finally at an end, maybe it doesn't matter, however, I disagree. I'm still in love with Peeta and his lovely blond curls. He's a man of different faces, but he knows what he wants in the end - Katniss. He will fight to the death to keep her alive and even in the face of extreme odds, Katniss comes out at the top of his heart (*brainwashing moot* - clue). What could be sexier than that in a fictional boyfriend?!! I seriously get all kinds of yummy images of Peeta when I read these books, some of the best coming from Catching Fire...*purrrrrr*. Black Disaster Fairy, what do you feel on the matter *glances up at BDF whist licking on a chocolate ice cream cone*

I have been reading Hunger Games. Yes, I am about done. Jen you do not need to poke fun at me. I already know that I am missing out on a most interesting concept. It is harsh and brutal when a society pits the younger generation in a game of survival. Jen how do you feel about that monstrous act. It is quite gruesome.

The Hunger Games themselves? Well, I would say total bollocks on the part of the Capitol, but still excellent for the plot itself. I've said it once and I'll say it again *licks cone* nothing is better than the gruesome murdering of minors....I mean, what could be better than an axe in the throat of some fifteen year old?! Okay, so that might be a bit dreary, but it does make for excellent plot content. And what an amazing tale Collins wove for us through 3 fabulous books! One of my favorite scenes is from Catching Fire with Katniss and our dear Peeta by the lake. Those kissing scenes had me all sorts of hot and sweating.

This most compelling book has grabbed the attention of so many readers. The buzz about this Battle Royale has simply had my ears ringing. And oh my, the fabulously strong and modest Peeta had me interested and wondering what twist would develop next. This was definitely a survival story that is worth the time needed to caress the book cover.

It's so true! Although, there is so much from that last book I don't want to divulge just in case someone has not had the pleasure of reading it, but man Peeta really took some crazy ass torture if you know what I'm saying. By the end of the book I had so many feelings raging through me, I really just wanted to hug Peeta and possibly throw him against the wall and have my way with him. Those blond curls would be so fun to run my fingers through. *licks lips*

Photo Picks:

I admit that this has been a most difficult choice. There is no one out there, that I can think of, that really fits to my Peeta needs. So, with that in mind I will be leaving you with a variety of men. A Man Candy Box of 5 0'clock shadow hotness!
Kellen Lutz just has that certain sculpted body that
I can see Peeta having. *Drool*
Justin Chambers (Alex from Grey's Anatomy)
You can ruffle my panties anytime!
*Pulls out several several silk scarves and evil grin*
Paul Walker. Now there is a man I can eat!
Pass me that Man Candy box of Chocolate!

Photo Picks:

For me, it wasn't difficult to see the picture of Peeta in my head, however, finding the face to go with the hair was near impossible, so I mostly looked for the face.

The first three are the same guy (Chase Crawford), just picture him with sexy blond curls instead of the sexy brown strait...
PhotobucketPhotobucket
Grrrrrr - Okay, he is quite sexy. He can be my chocolate cone anytime!

Photobucket
(Now for this one, not the face, but the hair. This is how I see Peeta's hair, except maybe a tad blonder)...not the face mind you, THE HAIR!

Peeta with all of his manly strength can be found either hanging out with the rest of
our harem or between these lovely simple covers.
